New Windows Home Server 2011 Pricing from Microsoft
Microsoft seems to have answered the call of the masses in this slow world economy. We just received word that distributors have slashed the price of the Windows Home Server 2011, one of the more popular home media server solution, in response to a similar price reduction from Microsoft.
CCL in the UK has reduced their price for the Windows Home Server 2011 from £73.22 (inc VAT) to just £42.49 – that’s a 42% reduction. Here in the US, Amazon.com has WHS 2011 listed from $85.95, while other online retailers are listing the product for as little as $51! If you’ve wanted to build a Windows Home Server but price was still a little too steep, opportunity appears to have knocked!
For all that WHS 2011 offers by way of establishing a solid and easily managed home integrated system, plus the step by step instructions we’ve provided (Build a Windows Home server 2011) as well as the additional support we’re more than happy to provide, now is as good of a time as any to get started. If you already established a Windows home server, this appears to be a great opportunity to upgrade if you haven’t already. We’ve also provided other “how to” guides that you may find useful such as:
Additionally, rumor from wegotserved.com has it that distributors have been told this is not promotional pricing – this is the new price for the product. We’ll update you as soon as updates on this topic come available.
