The consequences of removing Drive Extender from Windows Home Server

Just in case you’ve been out of touch for awhile and haven’t heard the latest, last week Microsoft revealed in their Windows Home Server Blog of their intentions of removing Drive Extender functionality from the impending release of Windows Home Server code-named “Vail”.

Philip Churchill, our friend over at the MS WHS website, wrote a great overview of what this move means to the future of Windows Home Server “Vail”.  The really great thing about Philip’s article was his inclusion of a couple of quotes from ZDnet in the UK along with some words of hope from the Diskeeper Blog that are well worth the read!

Head on over and check out what Philip has to say!  Thanks Philip!
